This card was included in the Mega Evolution expansion, first released in the Japanese Mega Brave expansion.
Three Cosmos Holofoil versions of the Mega Evolution print with different stamps in the bottom right corner of the artwork were given away with eligible Pokémon Trading Card Game purchases at participating retailers in various countries to commemorate the launch of the expansion. Starting September 26, 2025, variants featuring a red GameStop logo were available at GameStop stores in the United States with a $15 minimum purchase. Variants featuring an EB Games logo were distributed in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand with purchases worth at least $15 at EB Games stores.[1]
Due to logistics problems, the Mega Evolution expansion was delayed until October 10, 2025 in EMEA regions.[2] This impacted the distribution of the third variant in Europe, which features the Mega Evolution expansion logo. Between October 10 and November 14, 2025, this variant was available at numerous retailers in the United Kingdom and Ireland with TCG purchases worth at least £29.99 and €29.99, respectively[3] (although some chains, such as MINISO, did offer different thresholds[4]). It was also available at numerous retailers in France, Italy, and Spain with TCG purchases worth at least €29.99[5][6][7] and similarly in Germany with TCG purchases worth at least €29.[8]
