Yugo

Yugo (Japanese: ユウゴ Yūgo) is a character who appeared in Another Day with Gardevoir.
History
Yugo is a young man who works for a delivery company with a work routine that spans the whole day. He used to be a Pokémon Trainer with aspirations of becoming a Champion and participated in different tournaments alongside Gardevoir, his partner Pokémon, but has given up following a loss in the last match of a tournament, where they seemingly weren't unable to accomplish a Mega Evolution. In the aftermath, he moved to another city, leaving his Key Stone behind, and got his current job.
During a particularly rainy day of deliveries, Yugo got distracted at the wheel and almost crashed into a Skiddo, but managed to veer off into the cliffside at the last moment. The impact, however, weakened the structure and caused a landslide. As Yugo tried to stop the truck from being carried by the mud, his Gardevoir revealed itself and joined in with Psychic, but this still wasn't enough, and the two of them, as well as the truck, were pushed off the cliff. At this moment, Gardevoir's Gardevoirite reacted with the Qualot Berry-themed decoration that fell from the truck, allowing it to Mega Evolve into Mega Gardevoir, clear the landslide, and get Yugo and the truck back into the road. They celebrated with their usual high five, but this caused the decoration to break, revealing a Key Stone, the same one Yugo thought to have left behind, inside, which he quickly realized must have been Gardevoir's doing.

Gardevoir is Yugo's only known Pokémon. It is capable of Mega Evolving, and its Gardevoirite is kept in a hairclip-like accessory.
During Yugo's childhood, a Ralts approached him as he was crying about a scraped knee, healed his injury, and shared Qualot Berries with him. From this moment onward, the two of them were inseparable, always striving to be the strongest. At some point, Yugo found a Key Stone for himself and a Gardevoirite for Gardevoir, but even then they weren't able to win at a tournament, which led to Yugo giving up on being a Pokémon Trainer.
Gardevoir likes to follow Yugo as he works his job without him knowing and heals him while he sleeps. One day, Yugo crashed into a cliffside, causing a landslide to carry his truck away, and Gardevoir revealed itself to help him in holding the truck, but their efforts weren't enough and they were pushed off the cliff. As they fell, its Gardevoirite reacted to a Qualot Berry-themed decoration that fell from the truck, enabling it to Mega Evolve into Mega Gardevoir, clear the landslide, and secure its Trainer and the truck.
Gardevoir's known moves are Teleport, Psybeam, Psychic, and Moonblast.
