Yoko (Japanese: ヨウコ Yōko) is Gardenia's assistant and a character of the day who appeared in The Grass Menagerie!.

She greeted Ash and his friends as they arrived at the Eterna Gym. Yoko later refereed the Gym battle between Gardenia and Ash.

Debut	The Grass-Type Is Always Greener!

Nuzleaf first appeared in The Grass-Type Is Always Greener!, where is delivered a note to Gardenia, who was exploring Eterna Forest at the time, requesting she return to the Gym.

It was later seen in The Grass Menagerie!, during Ash and Gardenia's Gym battle, where it was copying Yoko's hand signals.

None of Nuzleaf's moves are known.

• She strongly resembles Kumiko Yamaguchi from Gokusen. Incidentally, both of them have the same Japanese voice actress.
