Side Mission 001: A Big Ol’ Bunnelby

Once given this quest, follow the man into the alley to enter a fight with an Alpha Bunnelby. It’s only level 10 but it is much stronger and bulkier than a standard Bunnelby of the same level. Once defeated you’ll be given $400 and 2 x Fresh Water.

Side Mission 002: A Use for an Evolution Stone

Trade a Pikachu for a Heracross. These can be easily found in Wild Zone 3 You’ll be rewarded with $800, 5 x Poké Ball and 3 x Potion for your efforts, and you can keep the Heracross.

Side Mission 003: Sabeleye in the Cemetery

For this one, we have to find a ring in the Dormez Bien Cemetery in Wild Zone 4. After you enter the area, investigate the barren patch of land near the back of the Zone to battle Sableye. Once defeated you receive the ring and you have a chance to catch the Sableye. After you return to the woman with the ring you'll receive $4000 and 2 x Revive as a reward.

Side Mission 004: A Break Time Battle

Talk to Sommi to initiate a battle with him. He has a level 8 Pidgey, level 10 Emolga, and a level 8 Budew. Once defeated, he’ll fix the Holovator he’s standing next to, and tell you about how you can catch Pokémon on the roofs as well as in the Wild Zones. You’ll also receive $1200, 3 x Exp. Candy S, and 1 x Fresh Water as a reward.

Side Mission 005: I’d Like to See an Ekans!

Catch an Ekans, which are commonly found in Wild Area 4. Put it in your party and talk to Ismene. She will take a look at your snake up close before rewarding you with $500, 3 x Pecha Berry, 3 x Cheri Berry and 1 x Soda Pop.

Side Mission 006: Long-Range Moves Have Style

Talk to Distan to start the battle. He has a level 16 Binacle, Fletchling and Skiddo, and his gimmick is that he likes to use long-range attacks. However, as you are on a flat surface you can choose whichever type of moves you like to win. As a reward you’ll receive $1000 and 1 x Nugget.

Side Mission 007: A Feisty Chespin

Talk to the Chespin attacking the taxi to fight it. It’s level 14. You must defeat it three times back-to-back before it gives up. The Chespin will join you as a reward and you will also earn $1000, 3 x Exp. Candy XS and 1 x Exp. Candy S.

Side Mission 008: Get Well, Fennekin

After you meet the sick Fennekin, head to Café Classe in the south of the city and talk to the Old Man, who tells you to find a Revitalizing Twig in Wild Area 5. It can be found in the room through the sewers where the Alpha Whirlipede is. To reach it, you will need a Pokémon with a Water-type move so you can clean up the sludge. There are five twigs in this room and you’ll have to collect them all to find a fresh one.

Return to the woman with the sick Fennekin and it will join your party. You will also receive $1200, 3 x Exp. Candy XS and 1 x Exp. Candy S.

Side Mission 009: A Challenge from Froakie

Talk to the man near the Froakie on the scaffolding and he’ll ask you to clear his course in 30 seconds or less. Accept the challenge and climb to meet the Froakie at the top. However, this isn’t enough to impress it.

Go to the other side of the grass for another climbing challenge with a 40 second time limit. This isn’t difficult but there are some narrow platforms. Once you reach Froakie, travel to Rouge Pokémon Center for the final climbing challenge. This time you’ll need to roll over larger gaps in order to make it onto some platforms and you have 50 seconds. Once you have completed this challenge Froakie will be so impressed it’ll join you. You’ll also receive $1800, 3 x Exp. Candy XS and 1 x Exp. Candy S for completing the side mission

Side Mission 010: Skiddo’s Fragrant Leaves

Put a Skiddo in your party and talk to the woman. You can find one commonly in Wild Zone 3. For completing this task you’ll receive $800, 2 x Sachet and 5 x Persim Berry.

Side Mission 011: The Kakuna Master

Talk to the girl to battle her. She has three level 8 Kakuna, and a level 11 Beedrill. The most difficult part of the fight is that they all know Electroweb. Defeating her will reward you with $700, 1 x Silver Powder and 5 x Net Ball.

Side Mission 012: The Many Flowers of Flabébé

This woman wants to see all five colours of Flabébé. While you can find Flabébe in Wild Zone 3, these are all red in colour. Instead you can find the different colours throughout the city in different areas. Here are just some of the areas we found them.

  • Red - Wild Zone 3
  • Orange - One the roofs near Wild Zone 6
  • Yellow - On the bridge south of Wild Zone 6
  • White - North east of Wild Zone 2 in the courtyard
  • Blue - On the roofs surrounding Zone 3

You have to show her one colour of Flabébé at a time and when you do she will add that hair colour to the shop. Once you have shown her all five she will also add aqua, purple and passion pink to her shop as well. You’ll also receive $1500 and a Rare Candy for your troubles.

Side Mission 013: Stumped at the Fountain

Remove the brambles with a Fire-type move or a cutting move like Aerial Ace or Razor Leaf, then talk to the artist again. Three more sets of brambles will appear. Once you remove these ones, talk to her again and five will appear.

Destroy the final batch and talk to her again, you will find that Phantump was behind the mischief. This will reward you with $1000 and 3 x Nest Ball.

Side Mission 014: Slurpuff’s Café Visit

Once you start this mission, Slurpuff will start walking to Café Soleil. Follow it and the waitress will know what Slurpuff is there for. Once completed you’ll receive $3000 and 2 x Whipped Dream.

Side Mission 015: Sensitive Audino

Talk to the woman to start the battle. She has a level 20 Audino. Once defeated you’ll receive $900, 3 x Revive and 5 x Super Potion.

Side Mission 016: The Budew Show

Speak to the man inside Vernal Pokémon Center and he will ask you to take part in a Budew Pokémon Show. Go to Bleu Sector 8 with a Budew in your party to start the show. If you don’t have one yet, you can find one in Wild Zone 2. You will also need $5800 if you want to enter.

Don’t worry about the entrance fee, you will get it back and more at the end. It doesn’t matter what your Budew is like or how you answer the questions at the end, your Budew will be named the winner and you’ll receive $10,000 and 1 x Miracle Seed.

Side Mission 017: A Shiny Mareep?

Go to the highest point Wild Zone 1, past the boulders and up the two ladders. Once you get there, you’ll automatically call the woman who gave you the quest. This completes the quest where you’ll receive $500 and 3 x Pretty Feather. You can of course catch the Shiny Mareep as an extra reward.

Side Mission 018: A Pan-tastic Pot of Tea

You will need Pansage, Panpour and Pansear with you in order to complete this one. The monkeys can be found hanging out in trees around the entrances to Wild Zone 6. We also found all of them handing out on the rooftops in the same area.

Put all three in your party and talk to Servando again. He’ll make Pantrio tea using the three Pokémon, which will be added to the menu. You’ll also receive $1000, 3 x HP Up, and a White Herb.

Side Mission 019: Poisonous, Paralyzing Strategies

Speak to each woman in order to battle them. The paralyse trainer has a level 16 Electrike and Budew, while the poison trainer has a level 16 Venipede and Bellsprout. By the point in the game that you can challenge them it shouldn’t be too difficult. For winning you’ll receive $1200, 1 x Paralyze Heal, 1 x Full Heal, 5 x Potion, and 3 x Poké Ball.

Side Mission 020: A Berry Clever Plan

Speak to the man again to challenge him. He has a level 22 Swablu and Meditite, which both hold Oran Berries to give them a little more health. For winning the battle you’ll earn $900, 10 x Oran Berry, and 2 x Exp. Candy XS.
