GoldenMew.png The Golden Mew Award

Congratulations! For your outstanding service to Bulbapedia in pages regarding the Pokémon games you have been awarded the Golden Mew Award for October, 2009 by the Bulbapedia editorial board!

Please place this template onto your userpage by putting {{User Award|GoldMew|October, 2009}} among your userboxes.

Most notably for your work on Pokethlon and Pokewalker. Congratulations! -- MAGNEDETH 21:20, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm tasking you with putting in the new, correct numbers in the 'thlon templates on the Pokémon pages. All of them. The parameters are Stat (for the base stat number/filled stars) and StatMax (for the max stars). You can get on AIM to communicate with the admins who'll be assisting as well. TTEchidna 00:56, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Cheers for cleaning up my pages on Amity Field and Event. I know I thanked you before, but a public thanks like this feels a lot better. Hope you can fix up my blunders in the future, haha! --Oz 14:38, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for making the page haha ^^ I was sort of hoping that someone eventually would, I just always feel bad for taking ktxad's information without asking :/ ... though he probably already knows people are going to be taking it lol... you did good though ^^ I just filled in the very few missing links :p haha (Yaminokame 14:43, 25 November 2009 (UTC))
Oh, now I remember where I've seen your username before...! You're on SPPf, right? Haha, I was wondering why the name stuck out to me so much. Yep, all makes sense now. Anyways, at the risk of sounding boastful, we both did darn good, then. Teamwork ftw! --Oz 14:45, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, that's me haha ^^ teamwork ftw indeed :D It's a good thing we checked serebii's list, there was an error on one of the moves XD ... Now I have to go tell serebii about the error...probably will go un-fixed for a while though lol... >___< (Yaminokame 15:00, 25 November 2009 (UTC))

Also, I think your idea on the Advantage-types is a good way to put it in. Otherwise, it'd just look messy. Are they all 3/4 of the steps under advantage? --Oz 16:35, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

That's the problem that I was seeing too :( Adding more stuff visually seems a little too much for something so small, but I still feel that putting in "Advantageous type:" makes it a little bit less visually appealing... Maybe we should add a footnote that denotes the scroll-over text as the value with Advantageous type effects :p ... Yeah, they are 3/4 for all courses :) (Yaminokame 16:40, 25 November 2009 (UTC))
As in 2000+ and then putting a "*Advantageous types only" or something along those lines? :) --Oz 16:44, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Your work's really helpful, thanks. :) But you seem to be editing like a few lines at a time then clicking save. Just so the recent changes page (which I lurk) isn't crowded with them, could you perhaps, well, for example: after finishing Hoppip (location, level etc.) preview it then carry on? :v [[User:Tyro|Tyro!]] 22:56, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

I was actually having problems where someone had changed the template that I was working with as I was doing it, so I had to go back and redo parts again :( Unfortunately, my computer overheats a lot too and to save myself from losing information I have to save it often... I'll try to see what I can do though :) (Yaminokame 23:00, 23 February 2010 (UTC))
Ah, okay. ^^ [[User:Tyro|Tyro!]] 23:02, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I changed the template, when everything on that page is replaced by the template, there shouldn't be any problem. Sorry about that. Jello 23:03, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
No problem at all haha, I'm glad you did it ^^ Scared the crap out of me though >.< I thought I had totally messed something up when I was working the stuff around. Do you have any idea how to fix the template so that we can retain the style we have now and get all Pokemon into the template? I couldn't figure out a good way to do it and make it look nice :/ (Yaminokame 23:07, 23 February 2010 (UTC))
Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean exactly. Also, it might be easier just to put all this in Word or something and edit it from there. That way you can save your progress on your computer and when it's all done just make one huge edit. Jello 23:11, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Like, right now the three templates aren't enough for the section. Right now the page has three templates that handle: 0 block/1 block/2 block types, but some Pokemon can be found in more than one way... and I wasn't sure how to get the template to combine methods... if that makes sense... Right now the Pokemon that have more than one method are not using any template, they're just coded separately... that's why I got thrown off when the three templates were changed because all of a sudden those entries that didn't match any others... we need to find a way to get those entries coded through the templates somehow :/ (Yaminokame 23:30, 23 February 2010 (UTC))
I can't think of anything without making more templates...which is pointless seeing as this template's only being used on one page. You can either leave it the way it is or just make another entry for the same Pokémon. Jello 00:10, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I was afraid of that :/ Oh well, at least they all look the same now and the lists take up a lot less room than before (plus the lists look better) ^^ (Yaminokame 00:20, 24 February 2010 (UTC))

Cheak Forest

#pocketmonsters says its Teak Forest while translator says it's Cheek, with two e's. Was it just a misspelling when you made the article? tc²₆tc26 09:09, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

I had made it from what was on the list on the Oblivia page. It can really be any spelling I guess due to the fact that we don't have an official Romanization of it as far as I know. We should decide on one thing and go with it though, which do you prefer? On another note, for Lapras Beach, should we keep it as the English word "Lapras" or the Japanese equivalent of the name "Laplace"? (Yaminokame 09:14, 3 April 2010 (UTC))
For the forest, I vote Teak. I searched its meaning ("hard durable timber used in shipbuilding and for making furniture") and its more logical. For the beach, I think we usually stick with English. tc²₆tc26 09:20, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I'm with you then haha, I'll change the Oblivia page to reflect that :) (Yaminokame 09:22, 3 April 2010 (UTC))

Japanese romanizations

If you are going to change them, you must change the two names on each of the cards depicting the Pokémon you change. Only doing half the work tends to annoy people. MaverickNate 14:24, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Which cards are you talking about? I haven't changed anything regarding the TCG? (Yaminokame 14:30, 25 April 2010 (UTC))
You changed many romanizations. Each card page states the romanizations of Pokémon twice. If you change the main list, or the Pokémon page, you also have to make sure that each of the card pages has the same romanization as the ones you changed on the Pokémon species pages. MaverickNate 14:34, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh, you were yelling at me for not changing the card pages? I know I haven't done them yet, They aren't very consistent to begin with and I'm trying to at least work out which ones are official and which ones aren't. Plus there are some that I have no idea what to do with because the pages are conflicting and I can't find an official source with the information written on it. I haven't finished yet, if you would like to help then that would be appreciated, but I was going to get to those in a little bit once I was sure of which romanizations were official and which weren't. (Yaminokame 14:40, 25 April 2010 (UTC))

Help, possibly? :D;;

If I recall correctly, you live in Japan; forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'll be going on the assumption that you do. XD

Anyway, have you ever played Battrio? The Battrio information on Bulbapedia needs some major updating and cleanup (I mean just look at that article 8|), so this is my goal for once I'm done with finals. However, I only had the chance to play it about five times while I was in Japan, so if there's anything that you could do to help it would be much appreciated.

I still have to figure out exactly how I want to go about this - I'm thinking that, in addition to updating the general information on the game, it might be good to add information on all the available pucks, similar to what the TCG has - but I wanted to see if you would be willing to help once I have a plan of action. :) 梅子 19:09, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

Woah D: Would you believe that I woke up this morning thinking that I should probably help expand the Battrio section lol? XD Sure, I'm up for it ^^ With that said, I've never played Battrio before, so I'm going to need to go try it out a few times and get a better feel for the game (the only puck I own (and haven't lost) was from CoroCoro >.< ) From what I've seen, the official site seems to be pretty detailed with the contents of each set, so as long as we have a format to display it in, I'm sure making pages should be pretty easy ^^ Let me know your ideas for the section and hopefully we can fill the section out. In the meantime Rayquaza and I will get to practicing :p (Yaminokame 03:04, 7 May 2010 (UTC))

Movie 13 manga

Do you think you could post a picture of Rioka with her hair down, please? I'm curious to see how she looks. --The Great Butler 01:13, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Yep, here you go :) (Yaminokame 01:24, 16 May 2010 (UTC))
AWESOME. Thanks so much! --The Great Butler 01:49, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

So, does ちからずく still mean Invigorate? CuboneKing 17:41, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

It's a little different. My dictionary comes out with ちからずく being:
力ずくで (chikarazuku de)--by force; by sheer strength; by main force
which would put the translation as something like "Sheer Strength" or whatever other synonym you could come up with for that. (Yaminokame 19:55, 10 August 2010 (UTC))
I'm gonna go with Sheer Strength. Thanks :) CuboneKing 01:18, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Route kanji

Plz to be leaving route names in kana. 1ばんどろ just looks more consistent with Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh than 1番道路. TTEchidna 08:06, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Gotcha, but what are your feelings towards other locations with kanji in their names? (Yaminokame 12:48, 5 October 2010 (UTC))
