Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. That user ended up blocked and subsequently had every erased comment restored. --MoldyOrange04:13, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

there was no war. you started it by changing images of episodes that were the head images for a year and several months (example: the image for episode episode 22).... - unsigned comment from Pikastorm (talk • contribs)

Well, Kuki, you should have known better not to keep an edit war going. Keeping it going is just as bad as starting one. That is probably why both of you were blocked. MoldyOrange00:16, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you don't mind, could you please continue with the thing I've been doing with the headers? My Internet is slowing down for some reason, so you could you please continue where I left off? Origin Headline
Latest comment: 8 November 20084 comments2 people in discussion
So why are we making the Origin headline on Pokémon pages level 2 instead of level 3? I'm wondering because I couldn't find a discussion of it anywhere. Personally, I don't think that 'Origin' deserves the same level of importance as other headers like 'Game data' and 'In the anime'. — Laoris(Blah)01:50, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I was the one who proposed it on the Project Pokédex talk page, and there were no oppositions, so I started doing it, and tc decided to help. And we are doing it because the origins aren't trivial, thus they don't belong as sub-headers of trivia sections. Chocolate01:52, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oops, I wasn't sure where to look to find stuff that would apply to all the Pokémon pages. Anyway, I don't want to make a big deal out of a relatively minor issue, especially since you've already put work into it, but I still don't think that origins are that important. I guess it is a matter of opinion though. PS., sorry to have put this discussion here, tc26. — Laoris(Blah)02:01, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I told Tesh that maybe it's better to keep the correct prons for the names, as Katakana says that it is reh-jee-ice, then only that pronunciation should be kept. hfc2X15:49, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Please don't add unconfirmed abilities to the anime Pokémon. Politoed666 has started reverting the unconfirmed abilities unless they have been seen or commanded to by their trainers. So, don't add any more, even if they have one ability. Thank you. --PsychicRider☮15:05, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Pokémon Pronunciations
Latest comment: 17 November 20087 comments3 people in discussion
Why did you change all of those? The ones I had put in were from an official Nintendo handbook. There are citations referring to it there. Are your pronunciations official? — Laoris(Blah)02:32, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
In that case, we don't have a good a good basis for how a Pokémon's name should be pronounced. People say names differently. Which way is correct? Can we consider pronunciations from games such as PBR correct? I've seen numerous pronunciations entered that I don't agree with, and many more that aren't even syllabic. Also, if the pronunciations from the handbook are incorrect, then I suppose they should be removed, but he left all the citations there. — Laoris(Blah)19:27, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
In the case the name is the same as Japanese, then the Katakana must be considered. And no, sometimes the anime fails bad. hfc2X20:03, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's preferred to use the PNG minisprites as opposed to the GIF ones. We once had a problem where static minisprites 400 and lower was GIF and 401 and above was PNG, but that problem has since been rectified so that now all minisprites, both still and animated, are available in PNG. I've went ahead and tweaked Template:Almiapkmn to reflect Bulbapedia's general PNG preference. Only the extension field vanished; the remainder of the paramaters are still intact. --Shiningpikablu25216:17, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just so you know, TTE wants us to get rid of all JPG and GIF anime screenshots and replace them with PNGs, so from now on, whenever you upload an anime image, upload it as a PNG instead of a JPG. Chocolate21:20, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your image is bland, and the other image describes the episode better. The best screenshots focus on major characters (Rotom's other forms), depict the plot or major events of the episode. Please discuss before changing it, I have my reason. What's yours? - unsigned comment from Pikastorm (talk • contribs)
For the High Touch! page, I think the lyrics should be color coded so the reader knows which character is singing which part. I already started, but i want to now if its ok.

Hey, I noticed you uploaded artwork for most Unown forms were they all little pictures you just put together or did they come that way?--MisterE1316:37, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Would you be against chopping them all up and uploading them individually. Because the Unown page is in the process of performing a calculation, semi-randomly displaying one form. I think that would also apply to the artwork but you could ask TTE if you want to be sure.--MisterE1314:40, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
On second thought, I asked TTE about it and he says to leave it as is. Sorry if you had already started this now useless undertaking.--MisterE1303:09, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't fit in my screen. Mainly coz of the infobox on the RHS. Changing the widths to "auto" could provide a fix. Just thought I'd let you know. — THE TROM — 08:39, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
'Tis sweet. Just a note (if you were the one that put the {{-}} underneath), that stuffs it up too because of the infobox. A simple break tag will suffice. (If it wasn't you, then this is for potential future reference) — THE TROM — 09:42, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
it doesnt fit on my screen either. did you check with TTE before implementing this on official pages? because youre supposed to. -- MAGNEDETH01:02, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry about that, my internet had problems a while ago and I forgot about it. Sorry, I didn't know I had to ask and Trom didn't have complaints after fixing it. *tc26*05:09, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
meh its ok. coincidentally, my internet just crashed. anyway, Trom prob uses a bigger reso than me, but worse of all, Pikablu uses an ancient 800x600, and he will surely complain. either way, you gots to ask TTE before implementing it. on a final note, could you answer my question above this? -- MAGNEDETH05:20, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Okay, could you stop editing move pages for a little while? The template is way too big for a lot of resolutions! I'm running a 1280x800 widescreen resolution, and the template is almost crashing into the infobox! Anyone on a smaller resolution will have huge display issues, plus, to be honest, it needs work... Also, have you even askedanyone if you can implement this template? - Kogoro|Talk to me - 06:51, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, running it on testpages is pretty much standard play... like how I do it. Plz to be working on it (and resize your browser so it acts like an 800x600 window so you know). TTEchidna07:19, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

OK, so first off you've spelled "messages" wrong up the top. But those color templates.... are you using a set percentage of the old templates? (e.g. "light" colors are 40% of the original). They really should all match up. And secondly.... they're all really really black. But considering they are mostly to be used as text, I suppose that isn't that big a deal. — THE TROM — 05:53, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
OK, TC. Admins just voted. No location color templates. Just use the hex codes, man, they're only going to be in, like, one place. It's not worth it. — THE TROM — 03:33, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

No limit doesn't mean go crazy. While your edits to your sandboxes are mostly for a good cause, you've made one mainspace edit in the past 115+ edits, or one in the past two days. So, um, just think about that, okay? Show preview etc., etc. I realise it isn't always possible and I'm sure this isn't your intention, but please! don't fill the RC with userpage stuff. — THE TROM — 10:55, 22 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Could you guys not gang up on him like this? He's only trying to help. You have no reason to warrant a block for this. I know you're all excited about this announcement but calm down. I'm shocked at your behavior. Especially you Mav...
I believe that some of you are overreacting because of what game it is, not because you do it for every game. I didn't see you act like this for Platinum. Yeah, yeah, we all expected this forever and TTE was really excited about it but, we should let other users get involved. Need I remind you that Bulbapedia is community driven, not one-person driven. And what happened to our "Be kind to other users policy"? Did that just fly out the window because of HGSS? Threatening blocks because you wanted to do it yourself? It's not right... Unless he vandalized something intentionally, you shouldn't threaten him with a block.
And now I'll be decked for this. Keep in mind I don't know everything that's going on, I just see what's on this talk page. And what I see doesn't seem right. tc26 is a good user who does a lot for us and shouldn't be treated like this over a game. --ケンジのガール07:26, 8 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
