This template is used to link to articles on Mystery Dungeon Franchise Wiki. Unlike other templates, three links are generated. One leads to the general page for Pokémon information, the other leads to a game specific page. They can be hidden as needed.

How to use

The template has five parameters. Mystery Dungeon Franchise Wiki is divided into namespaces based on topic, making the normal cross wiki link process somewhat more fraught. Don't worry, this guide will make you a pro!

The first parameter is a freebie, as it is a unnamed parameter for the page you want to link to. In most cases, this happens to be the page on Bulbapedia where this template is being used on, so feel free to leave it blank. Next up is linktext, an optional parameter which allows you to override what is displayed as the link on the page.

Step two is toggling off pages that don't exist. This takes the form of two parameters, nometa and nopkmn Use these, but leave them blank, when the page they would be link to does not exist.

The fourth parameter is namespace, which is used to direct the game specific link link to the correct wiki of Mystery Dungeon Franchise Wiki. There are multiple options, but only ones likely to be used are listed. If there is no need for the game specific link, hide it with the nogame parameter like the other two
