Welcome to Bulbapedia, MoonMama!

Thank you for joining our community! By creating an account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. This is a brief introduction to Bulbapedia's rules and resources to help you get started:

  • All users are expected to follow the code of conduct and to be kind to one another.
  • If you have a question, check out our FAQ; the manual of style provides detailed editing guidance, and the wikicode page provides details about how to use wikicode. You can always ask for help by contacting a staff member.
  • Please preview your edits before saving them; this helps you double-check your changes and reduces the need for repeated minor edits.
  • Use talk pages to discuss changes and resolve editing disputes.
  • Creating a userpage is allowed after you've added to the encyclopedia; for more details, see the userspace policy.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and information, check out the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Previewing edits

Just in case you weren't aware, you can preview your edits in order to make sure everything looks right before saving. It helps so that you can do everything in one edit instead of a bunch of separate edits. Let me know if you have questions! Landfish7 12:27, 24 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Also, apologies for not specifying, but the way to do this is to click the "Show preview" button next to the "Save changes" button when you go to save. This brings up a preview showing you what the page will look like once it's saved, allowing you to make changes if needed and preview again to see if it worked/is how you want it. You can also test links by right-clicking and opening the link in a different tab, and a link will be red if it is not linking to an existing page. Happy editing! What happened to my edits? I get that I could've done it more efficiently but the links that I fixed are broken again. MoonMama (talk) 13:50, 24 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
We're currently updating the Walkthroughs, as they've been moved to a different namespace and templates/links have yet to be updated. Thanks for asking! Should hopefully be fixed soon. Landfish7 13:52, 24 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
For what it's worth, the links seem to be working on my end? May take a little while to show on the logged out version of the site though. Landfish7 13:56, 24 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
Just checked again and it works. Looks like it just took a while, yea. MoonMama (talk) 13:59, 24 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
