Welcome to Bulbapedia, Luigi1234!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Hi!

Hi there! I noticed you've been one of the main contributors to the Pokémon UNITE page. That's great to see! If it helps, I thought it might be useful to know that you can use the Preview button (next to the Save button) to look over your edits before saving changes. You can also edit multiple sections at once by hitting the Edit button at the top of the page. These tools can help minimize the number of edits required, which helps make the page history a lot cleaner and easier to track changes made over time. Let me or another staff member know if you have any questions, and thanks for the great work! Happy editing! Landfish7 00:15, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Pokemon Unite

Hi, I noticed you contribute a lot to the list of Pokemon in Unite article. Would you also be interest in contributing to their individual pages in Category:UNITE Pokémon ? → PikaTepig999 19:51, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Unite colors

Hi, I noticed you're changing the colors on Unite templates from {{fire color}} to {{orange color}}. Might I know the reasoning behind that? → PikaTepig999 18:56, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

The fire color was changed from orange to red to match the SV type colors, which messes up the orange/purple color palette that the Unite templates are supposed to have. Luigi1234 (talk) 19:05, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ah, figured that might've been the case. If you need help, I can automate this process instead of you having to do it manually. → PikaTepig999 19:08, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, that would be helpful. Would appreciate if you did that. Luigi1234 (talk) 19:09, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Should be done now. → PikaTepig999 19:43, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Where is your source that Ho-Oh is releasing in UNITE on the 19th?

please give a source CuteShaymin (talk) 19:23, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Here--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 19:34, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
However, the official date is the 21st.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 19:40, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
The English sources have incorrectly mentioned the 21st, however, :the announcement on the Japanese Pokemon UNITE website correctly states the 19th. → SuperPikaPool13 19:46, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Um, how do you know it's not the Japanese webstie saying the incorrect date? It'd make more sense for it to be the 21st exactly, since that's the anniversary date, plus Mewtwo released on the 21st last year so CuteShaymin (talk) 20:29, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
The English website has not been updated in over a year whereas the Japanese website posts more information, and even the Japanese twitter posts a lot more updates than the English one, so I personally am inclined to believe the JP sources over the English ones until contradicted in-game. In this particular case, the English twitter has also posted a correction, confirming the release date as the 19th. → SuperPikaPool13 (talk) 21:13, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Previewing edits

Just a friendly reminder to preview your edits using the preview button in order to limit the numbers of edits made in a row. Thanks! Landfish7 10:26, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi there!

Howdy! Thanks for expanding the new Shield (UNITE) page with loads more details and information. Love to see it!

By the way, don't forget the tips I shared with you previously to help reduce the number of edits made in a short period of time. They really do help! Feel free to let staff know if you have any questions or need assistance. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing what you bring next! Landfish7 03:46, 18 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

'Preview' user group

Since I've noticed you often make a number of small edits in a row, I've added you to a user group that brings up a preview screen before saving. This should help remind you to check over your edits and make any changes in one go instead of saving multiple times. I hope this tool is helpful, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Landfish7 00:44, 7 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

To clarify, this automatic preview will be in place for one month. The idea is to help you practice using the preview feature as part of your editing process. Once this period ends, you are encouraged to continue previewing your edits before saving as best practice in order to keep feeds and page histories clean and to conserve server resources. Landfish7 02:13, 7 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
As you are still frequently making an excessive number of minor edits in a row, I've placed your account back into the preview group for the next 3 months. Landfish7 07:06, 11 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
