Hi!

Hey, so I was wondering, do you have any idea of when the "new" staff for Beckett Unofficial began? (i.e., the one with Alex Lucard). I'm trying to figure out the range of magazines to investigate to hopefully cite info from and archive that has this editorial team. Cukie Gherkin (talk) 09:24, 14 March 2025 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I do not know off the top of my head. I tried looking through the staff lists of a couple of the issues I have access to, but unfortunately I have so many gaps between issues I can't give a concrete answer. If it is at all useful, I can say that Alex Lucard specifically is not listed as a writer in the Oct 2006 issue (#86) but is listed as one in the July 2007 issue (#92). Additionally, I can try to put together a compiled set of the listed staff of each issue I have, but again, as there are so many gaps in my collection, it might not answer your question.

If you haven't already, Rocketslime1_1_ might be another person to ask about this. Their collection is quite a bit bigger than mine and may know a bit more than I do. They've also found that the magazine has gone under multiple names (Talk:List of Beckett Pokémon Unofficial Collector issues), which might be useful if the new staff began during 2003 - 2006 when the magazine "stopped" being a Pokémon magazine temporarily.
