Welcome to Bulbapedia, Aescula, as if it were different from any wiki you've ever been on! We're sure you have no idea how to use any of the MediaWiki Software, so here's a big ugly box that tells you everything everyone knows!
On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" () button at the top of the edit window.
The Userspace Policy says that you should keep userspace edits (edits to User:Aescula) to a minimum, and outlines a few other guidelines for your userspace.
For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! ---- MAGNEDETH23:11, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
What?! You mean I'm not allowed to clear all this mess off my own talk? Even though I've always been allowed to do that on all of the many other wikis I've joined. That's pretty messed up. --Aescula01:40, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hi Aescula. Bulbapedia does operate quite differently from other wikis. This is part of the reason that every new user gets the welcome message: so that they have the opportunity to read and learn about the policy enforced here (as opposed to how to use MediaWiki software, although this is included on some pages - unfortunately, not all of our users have used wikis before). Regarding the talk page policy; we require all messages to be kept for historical purposes. For example, when issuing "leveled" warnings, users need to quickly identify at which stage of the warning the user is on. The welcome message, though, should be kept so you have a permanent link to help pages and policy pages. This is all in the talk page policy, which you can navigate to through the Welcome Portal. If you already understand MediaWiki software, that's great! I look forward to working with you. Regards, —darklordtrom08:47, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'd look forward to working here, too, but for one, I know little about pokemon that isn't listed here already, and besides, I can't seem to edit much. I mean, not even my own userpage, weird as that is.--Aescula09:34, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Now if you read the userspace policy linked above you'd be able to answer your own question :) If you can't find places that need information added, there are always articles needing cleanup. —darklordtrom10:08, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
