User:Pokéfan95/Appendix:How to dodge Pokémon attacks in SSB4
This is what you do to dodge Pokémon attacks in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. (excluding Pokémon that don't attack, such as Mew). The techinique "dodge Fox's Final Smash" is almost useful when dodging Pokémon attacks. To do this, go out of the stage, use a jump after you fall (make sure to go right), have a lot of horizontal distance, and grab at the edge of the other side.
Sent out from a Poké Ball
- Metagross - Just use jumps to avoid Metagross's Earthquake. Floaters, such as Jigglypuff and Kirby, can help a lot. The "dodge Fox's Final Smash" technique can be used here. Note that you must let go of the edge immediately after successfully doing the techinique, or Metagross's Earthquake can knock you down (Meteor effect), making you KO'd.
- Staryu - Don't stop moving, so you can confuse Staryu. Sonic is useful, but you can also use the "dodging Fox's Final Smash" technique.
- Snorlax - Stay out where Snorlax is summoned. You must also stay away or dodge the summoner's attacks also.
- Entei - Stay out where Entei is summoned. You must also stay away or dodge the summoner's attacks also.
- Inkay - Same with Metagross.
- Deoxys - Same with Snorlax and Entei.
- Arceus - Do not jump. You must dodge the summoner's attacks too. If you are sent flying, and Arceus used Gravity, you will be experiencing a meteor effect.
- Spewpa - Don't attack Spewpa. And stay away also, as the summoner can still attack it, make you stunned.
- Gogoat - Just jump over it. When it stops, you can ride it, making it impossible to damage you. Floaters will help a lot here.
- Chespin - Stay away from it. If you can't stay away, jump. Floaters will help a lot here.
- Keldeo - Using air dodges and sidesteps can help a lot. Using the "dodge Fox's Final Smash" can help too, but make sure you are fast enough.
