User:NaMroz/Espeon ex Sylveon ex deck

Espeon ex Sylveon ex is a Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket deck archetype introduced in Wisdom of Sea and Sky in 2025. It is an Eeveelution-focused deck that utilises Espeonex's Ability for healing and Sylveonex's Ability to accelerate setting the Pokémon up. In addition to combined 2×30 HP of healing from two Espeonex, this deck often takes advantage of Trainer cards with healing effects.

While Espeonex is the main attacker of this deck with its 80 damage attack, Sylveonex can also be utilised for early-game damage depending on the player's hand, dealing only 10 points of damage less.

Strategy

1. Set up Espeon ex in Active Spot and on Bench with Eevee that can draw cards 2. Professor Oak + sylveon's ability to draw cards fast 3. Switch two Espeon ex and heal after each turn 4. Can play with non-ex Espeon or Sylveon to deal with Oricorio but it outheals Oricorio's attack anyway

Weaknesses

Can tie with Oricorio but it's tedious Weak to strong Dark types and can be oneshot by heavy hitters, most ex pokemon +Red

Possible tech cards

  • Pokémon Communication - Can be used for added consistency by trading out unwanted Eeveelutions.
  • Red Card - Can pair with Mars to cut down on opponents' card advantage and consistency, particularly when facing opposing Sylveon ex decks.
  • Eevee - Unlike the Eevee Grove print, the Genetic Apex print of Eevee deals damage with its attack, letting it deal reliable chip damage before evolving.
