Zoey's Mismagius (Japanese: ノゾミのムウマージ Nozomi's Mumargi) is Zoey's second known Pokémon seen in Pokémon the Series.

History

Misdreavus and Zoey during the Jubilife Contest

Mismagius debuted as a Misdreavus in Mounting a Coordinator Assault! when it was used during the Jubilife Contest's Performance Stage. It made its appeal by coming out of its Poké Ball covered in a purple fog thanks to its Smoke Seal. It was silhouetted in the mist making only its shadow visible, thus making it look much more ominous and frightening. Zoey told it to use Double Team, before dispersing the doubles and the smoke with Confuse Ray. It then finished the appeal with Shock Wave to create large waves of electricity spreading outwards towards the edge of the Contest Hall.

In A Stand-Up Sit-Down!, Misdreavus and Glameow frantically searched for help after Zoey sprained her ankle and ultimately came across Ash and his friends, leading them to Zoey's location.

In Pruning a Passel of Pals!, Misdreavus was briefly seen defeating a Mothim in the Wallace Cup.

In Coming Full-Festival Circle!, Misdreavus was shown to have evolved into Mismagius as it and Leafeon were selected by Zoey to battle against Nando's Kricketune and Lopunny in the semifinals of the Sinnoh Grand Festival. During the battle, Mismagius and Leafeon displayed tremendous teamwork, even coming up with unique and beautiful combinations, and even using an unorthodox method of Lucky Chant to counter Kricketune's Sing. After a fierce back-and-forth battle, Mismagius and Leafeon won by a small margin of points, allowing Zoey to advance to the finals.

Personality and characteristics

Mismagius and Leafeon in the Sinnoh Grand Festival

Mismagius is a very talented and powerful Pokémon, which is perfect for Zoey's Contest campaign. It is perfectly capable in participating in both the Performance and Battle Rounds of any Contest it competes in. It also cares very much about Zoey and her well-being, as seen in A Stand-Up Sit-Down! when it and Glameow frantically looked for help after Zoey sprained her ankle.
