Trainer (Bidoof's Big Stand)
This Trainer[1] is a central character in Bidoof's Big Stand.
History
The Trainer appeared for the first time saving Bidoof from the attack of a Staraptor and, after much insistence from Bidoof, he ended up giving in and capturing her for his team. During his journey, the Trainer had a habit of using Bidoof to cross obstacles and rewarded her each time with an Oran Berry. On one of these occasions, Bidoof was used to open a cave exit where a wild Gengar appeared, so the Trainer quickly replaced her with Lucario. This made Bidoof start to feel bored of doing these actions.
Eventually, the Trainer reached the Pokémon League finals, where his team was completely defeated in a Full Battle, forcing him to use Bidoof in battle. Encouraging Bidoof to use her special moves, Bidoof managed to defeat a Golem and a Staraptor, thus making the Trainer the winner of the competition. The victory make Bidoof finally receive recognition from its Trainer.
In the short's epilogue, Trainer was seen taking Bidoof to see its old group of his kind, bringing some foods to her on a beach and taking some pictures with her.

Lucario is this Trainer's first known Pokémon. Lucario was first seen saving Bidoof from a Staraptor's attack. After the battle, Lucario and the Trainer exchanged a high five, the sight of which made Bidoof want to join their team. Whenever the Trainer would withdraw Bidoof in a situation where battling was necessary, he would typically send Lucario out in her place. During the Pokémon League, Lucario was defeated by a Golem, forcing the Trainer to send out Bidoof.
In the short's epilogue, Bidoof and Lucario were seen eating some Berries together.
Lucario's only known move is Aura Sphere.

Bidoof is the main character of Bidoof's Big Stand. Before meeting her Trainer, Bidoof lived in a group with others of her kind, and often unintentionally caused them problems. One day, after angering the others, Bidoof wandered away, and upon attempting to eat an Oran Berry she found, she was attacked by a flock of Starly, and then by a Staraptor. Before the Staraptor could finish her off, she was saved by a Trainer and his Lucario. Seeing the bond that the two shared, Bidoof convinced the Trainer to catch her.
During the journey, Bidoof was often sent out only to clear a path and when the need for battle arose, the Trainer was quick to switch her out for Lucario. As time went on, Bidoof became more and more bored with her role on the Trainer's team. One day, the Trainer sent out Bidoof, who realized she was in a real battle in the Pokémon League. Initially afraid, Bidoof was encouraged by her Trainer to go ahead. Using the same move she used to clear paths for her Trainer, Bidoof was able to defeat a Golem, and afterward, she was able to confront her fears by defeating the opponent's final Pokémon, a Staraptor. This victory meant her Trainer won the Pokémon League, and in celebration, he finally gave Bidoof the same high five she had seen him give Lucario.
In the short's epilogue, Bidoof was shown showing off her Trophy to the other Bidoof in her old home, receiving credit for her victory in the League.
Bidoof is housed in a Nest Ball.
Bidoof's known moves are Cut, Rock Smash, and Rollout.
