Tongs

(Japanese: トング Tongs) is a character of the day who appeared in HZ140. He is a baker and the manager of (Japanese: ベーカリー・トングリラ Bakery Tongri-La).

Tongs's bakery developed a Nidothing bread and advertised it on social media, causing it to go viral. Tongs and his bakery then decided to participate in Bread Fest, where all sorts of bakers get together. He sent a request to Nidothing to come liven the festival up with a Nidothing baking event, which Nidothing accepted. Tongs proudly announced on social media that Nidothing and Mini Nidothing would be attending the festival, which made his followers go wild. Before Bread Fest started, Nidothing came to visit him. Not seeing Mini Nidothing anywhere, Tongs asked where it was, to which Nidothing replied it would come later.

Later during the festival, Tongs got up on stage and announced the event: "A Nidothing and Mini Nidothing With Friends Showtime". Tongs and Nidothing put up a good show, with Tongs baking Nidothing bread live on stage. Although the crowd grew restless when Mini Nidothing was nowhere to be seen, it eventually showed up and danced together with Nidothing and its Pokémon. The event turned out to be a great success, and as a way of thanks he gave Nidothing and its friends two baskets full of Nidothing and Mini Nidothing bread.
