This Frienda Pick was given away at participating locations with a Pokémon Frienda machine from February 8, 2025 as part of a tie-in with the animated series. Stock permitting, children of junior high school age and below that said "please give me a Frienda Pick!" to staff were given a copy of this Frienda Pick.[1]
It was given away again at the Kochi Anikuri Festival 2025, which was held at the Kochi Prefectural Gymnasium on April 5 and 6, 2025. Visitors of any age could receive a copy of this Frienda Pick and a Pikachu Frienda Pick for as long as stocks lasted. Visitors could also try a free Battle and Catch! mode trial session on a Pokémon Frienda machine running the latest set and watch performances by the Frienda Navigators.[2]
A lamé-treated, translucent gold version of this Frienda Pick was available as part of a gift campaign held in conjunction with the Japanese broadcast of HZ083 on February 7, 2025.[3] A campaign page went live on the TV Tokyo website following the broadcast, on which people could enter the keyword displayed during the episode. Correct answers were entered into a lottery to win one of fifty prize packages, which comprised a set of four exclusive Frienda Picks mounted in an acrylic frame and a copy of the Koraidon, Miraidon & Pikachu Treasure Pokémon Set. The entry period was open until the broadcast of HZ084 on February 14, 2025. Winners were scheduled to receive their prizes by the end of April 2025.[4]

Trivia
Origin
This Terapagos is based on Pagogo, who belongs to Liko in Pokémon Horizons: The Series; "パゴゴ", Pagogo is also present in the top left of the Frienda Pick's illustration. Terapagos would appear in its Normal Form when the Frienda Pick was initially set on the machine, but would change into its Terastal Form when the player was ready to battle. An image of Liko would appear in-game when Terapagos was selected to attack for the first time. Tera Starstorm is a move that Terapagos used in the animated series and one it can learn in the games.
