Can't correct

Pronouns/gender usage on page/template

So, i've been thinking this for a while now, but this template and especially the page for it are both very outdated. Things like "(male or female, pick one, it's not that hard to check)" come off as especially rude, and the template forcing gendered pronoun usage also doesn't sit right with me.

Could someone with the ability to edit this page remove those remarks, as well as changing the template to use gender neutral language and replacing the "male/female" selection for Ethan and Lyra with their actual names? We're in the big year of 2025 and i personally think we should have updated this long ago, even if extremely minor. ButSmeargleCan'tUseTheMove (talk) 17:18, 10 September 2025 (UTC)

Edited the template to make it gender neutral; Users now pick a character name without presumptions about their own gender. Also removed the rude explanation. Thanks for pointing this out! Thespeon196 (talk) 21:38, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
