Back to bad formatting

On "Sleep style" every row of the Pokémon list table is unnecessarily tall due to little space for the "Atop-Belly Sleep" cell where the text always breaks into two lines. I wanted to give all four last columns more space so they wouldn't have to break into more lines and make the table longer. Pokédex entries are short enough to be squished without any problems. Also, I made Pokédex entries align left what is the best format for longer texts, used universally everywhere, even Pokémon pages aligns Pokédex entries to the left, but I guess not everyone agrees. I've tried to add a min-width to the last four cells to avoid squashing Atop-Belly Sleep to two lines. However, there isn't really a good way to give these columns more space, especially since the logged-out skin, which most of our visitors see, has a lot thinner width than other skins. (Monobook, Vector, Vector 2022) Another factor to consider is different screen sizes and resolution settings, not to mention adapting it to thin widths for mobile view; though I guess horizontal scrolling is unavoidable . However, I hope my recent edit solves some of the major issues, and we can always work on solving issues as they come up. → SuperPikaPool13 19:18, 24 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Fine. We'll always be restricted by thinner screens. I wonder why the center aligned dex entries are preferred. How about connecting Pokemon image and its name into single cell? This table already uses image+text in single cells anyway. Rocket Grunt 09:58, 25 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
