wouldn't be better if this template was something like this?:

We're manually phasing out the template and replacing it with the above coding. There's nothing wrong with what we have, and it can still be used in some places, but it is preferred that images aren't used widely. — THE TROM — 05:37, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

PNG icons

Using Gen 8 Type Icons

I think it would appropriate to update this template to start using the Gen 8 Type Icons. TehPerson (talk) 16:58, 16 January 2020 (UTC)

I've already got the new images uploaded. And if the admins also agree the icons should be updated, simply replace the .gif with .png; and there should be an option {{{2|x20px}}} added in to properly fit the sizes. TehPerson (talk) 17:43, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
