Link to Season

How com clicking on a season takes you to the episode list instead of the season's article? There is already a link to the episode list. SeanWheeler 19:48, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

It links to "Black & White!" instead of "Black & White" in the episode list.

Black & White! is non-existant. Can an administrator fix that? Pikachu Bros. (talk) 22:43, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Rival Destinies?

Shouldn't this be added by now? ----samm :) 17:48, 13 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Added. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ

Incomplete

There's nothing linking to the Pikachu shorts, or to a couple of other special episodes (like Slowking's day and Legend of Thunder). XVuvuzela2010X 22:12, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Chronicles includes The Legend of Thunder. The others do need to be addressed though. --SnorlaxMonster 23:01, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orange Islands

Shouldnt't the template say " Adventures in the Orange Islands " instead of " Orange Archipelago " as all the seasons are named in english ? SuperPikaPool13 (talk) 08:48, 30 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Uncomplete

The Side stories section is lacking a link to "BW specials". --Gabo 2oo (talk) 14:27, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Orange Island is linked incorrectly

It should be #Adventures in the Orange Islands, not #Orange Islands. I suppose I could add an anchor, though. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 12:18, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Still uncomplete

The Side stories section is now lacking a link to "BW specials" and "XY specials". --Gabo 2oo (talk) 15:14, 3 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hoopa's Appear Plan

Hoopa's Appear Plan has aired in pokemon.com and its now called Hoopa’s Surprise Ring Adventures. PattyMan 20:11, 11 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Should the sub-series in Japanese for prior series also be included?

I noticed that the sub-series for Horizons in Japan were added to the template, which I agree with. Should the same be done for the prior series as well? (Such as BW Season 2, Episode N & Decolora Adventure)? Torpoleon (talk) 15:31, 21 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Just to throw it out there, what if keep this template for series and seasons, and a separate template for series and arcs? AdilTalk to me 15:59, 21 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I think this is the better approach tbh. The Japanese seasons seem very out of place on this template to me. If they are included it should be done retroactively to the beginning but I think its best we find a different home for them 4iamking 18:23, 21 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Here's a draft with three possible options, one with all the arcs listed (some with unofficial terminology but open to suggestions), one with just Horizons and similar to the series/season template design, and one with just Horizons but slightly different design. Nothing is set in stone, so feel free to play around with it and see what works best. AdilTalk to me 12:36, 25 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I definitely like the third one of the most and would want to see that one added to the mainspace. I do feel like the colors should be flipped, but some of them (especially black) make the text hard to read. The top and bottom should probably be the generic bulba color, similar to what we have for the core series games, side series, spin-offs, DLC, etc. I don't feel the line for Horizons is really necessary. I support the idea of having "series and seasons" and "series and arcs". Torpoleon (talk) 23:37, 25 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
All of these have awful readability and are colour overkill in my opinion, I like the 3rd one the best but with the following changes:
  • Colours only used on left side (with bolded text)
  • Title be "Story arcs of the Pokémon animated series"
  • It should reference "Pocket Monsters" instead of "The Beginning", "Journeys" or "Horizons" as these names aren't representative of the Japanese anime; or maybe "Pocket Monsters (series)" BW should also be "Best Wishes".

I just also wanted to say; one other thing I'd point to is the the official Japanese listing for their series, which does seperate out the orange island saga: here. 4iamking 09:23, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Anyway I've given my suggestion on the page (following the series chronology as given on the official website). 4iamking 09:56, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the input. It's much appreciated. Can you help me implement those changes, if you get time? AdilTalk to me 10:59, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I see that you already did. Thanks again, that looks much better. AdilTalk to me 11:30, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure how we want to deal with Battle Frontier; its important to note that neither the Japanese or Korean websites list it as a distinct arc. 4iamking 11:37, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
In the past, they have promoted it as a separate thing with a dedicated logo at least. I think that's official enough for us to categorize it as that, for readability's sake. AdilTalk to me 11:42, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Changed the linking a bit. Any further input from anyone? AdilTalk to me 15:03, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Looks good so far! Would you be able to change the colors for the top and the bottom, and the right hand side to be the bulba color (similar to what it is for the games templates)? Also, I was actually wondering what people would think of the idea of having one template that shows the series, story arcs and seasons instead of having one template for series/story arcs and one for series/seasons. The header could be "Series, Story arcs and Seasons of the Pokémon animated series", or something to that effect, and then a subheader for the series, story arc and season. Basically imagine your draft with the seasons to the far right. Torpoleon (talk) 14:28, 27 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
About displaying season, I am not sure if that would work for mobile users to have three columns. It would be too large I think. Since this has a very specific use, it might be better to keep them separate; less crowded. AdilTalk to me 17:23, 27 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
