Propose deletion
This template seems to have no real purpose. It is only used on one page, and its use on that page can be easily replaced as follows (I did test whether this would work using the preview button):
- Instead of «''Melee''{{'}}s»
- use «''Melee''<nowiki/>'s»
This seems to be a more efficient way to solve this problem, as it is evidently not a problem that shows up often, given that this is only used on one page, and the added few bytes to type the nowiki tag are offset by the storage space saved by deleting this template. --Felthry (F.K.A. <nowiki> placement
If they surrounded the actual apostrophe, this would work where trailing apostrophes cause problems (such as within the template at AG078). (Note that I don't take any stance on whether this template is necessary, or should be deleted.) Nescientist (talk) 15:44, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
Propose for deletion
I just removed every single instance of this template on Bulbapedia. This means, the template can be deleted. If not deleted, then it can be archived. Relatively few pages used this template (9, to be exact). --C.Ezra.Msomething to say? · My work documentation 19:24, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Why do you think it's unnecessary? Only 9 articles use it? So? The template exists for a reason.--ForceFire 06:34, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
