Someone with better ears for Japanese than I told me that it sounds like Brock has an accent in the Japanese, one which causes his R to sound more like an L than for other characters. This song in particular seems to show that; he pronounces the "ra" like a perfect "la", rather than making it sound like something out of that Christmas movie. Still, though, can anyone confirm this? --Pie ~ 20:53, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

What's the source for that rather odd comment about this ending being taken off the air after six weeks? Does Japan even HAVE a PTA? Lucentas 03:47, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Judging by their reaction to other legal issues, I doubt it would have become a running joke if that was the case. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 12:38, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Brock's Paradise

  • Shouldn't this be called, Brock's Paradise. --Kid Sonic 07:02, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
No, because no official English translation has been released.--☆Kevzo8 07:09, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Romanized Japanese titles, not translated. It's why it's "High Touch!", not "High Five!". TTEchidna 09:13, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Planning a restructure

I found it odd that such a relatively significant running gag gets alluded to in the opening paragraph, but the elaboration it sets up gets pushed all the way into trivia. I’m thinking either we should detail it in the opening section like the Pokémon theme, or make an In the anime-type section right before the lyrics section. Any thoughts?--KnightGalarie (talk) 03:06, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Running gags are essentially trivial, so they belong to the trivia section - especially if it's going to be a dot-point list (and before you mention it, the info on the Pokemon theme's opening paragraphs, relative to running gags, are far more important). A small mention in the opening paragraph is fine, though I'm not against that going as well.--ForceFire 14:16, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
I don’t understand how it’s trivial though…--KnightGalarie (talk) 14:17, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Because it's information that doesn't fit anywhere else on the article.--ForceFire 14:38, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
