In Colosseum, Evice's Scizor has this ability, according to his article. Is this only for his Scizor or was it an oversight and he should be listed here? Cheesedude 19:32, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

No, Scyther and Scizor always have it in Gen III, and half the time in Gen II. Someone must've forgotten to put it here. --TTEchidna 23:00, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Gen II? cal05000 09:39, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
He means Gen IV. — THE TROM — 10:24, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
It's been a year, forgive him. =P Ҝəυzø8 10:38, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Actually it's been two. Two whole, exact years, to the day. That is quite cool.... — THE TROM — 20:26, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

I was just thinking that someone should make a variations template like how they have them for Pokemon moves. So basically on this page you could have Variations of the ability Swarm or Variations of the ability Torrent (with swarm in the list) I was just asking because 1. I need permission and 2. I don't know how to do one.--lilkaykaygal 2:35, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

You mean something like this:
Variations of the ability Overgrow
Overgrow | Blaze | Torrent | Swarm

Yes, Exactly like that-- lilkaykaygal 2:50, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Not sure if it's due to ability, glitch, or something else... but since I put Leavanny with Swarm into front of the party, I couldn't get any other encounter in tall grass than rustling grass (in Castelia City's part with grass in B2W2). Before I had Watchog in front of the party, and it was fine - both normal and rustling. Note that Watchog has Illuminate, which outside of battle has the same effect as Swarm. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 12:50, 29 June 2012 (UTC) Nevermind... it seems that I just had a lot of luck.

Effect on encounter rate

By how much does Swarm increase the encounter rate? pikalax (talk) 12:52, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
