Evolving Scyther

Based on the wording of the card, which mentions evolving or benching Scyther in order to cancel the side effect of the attack, I was wondering two things: was this written on the original Japanese card as well, and if so, would that have been a potential hint for an evolution for Scyther at that point? Never mind, I retract my statement. I also saw it on a Nidoking card, so I'm guessing it's just for consistency purposes. ^ht14 18:19, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
