Holo/Reverse Holo SVE Cards

I have noticed that there are many types of Holographic Energy cards for the Scarlet & Violet sets. There are the Cosmos Holo (Standard & HD) pattern, a pattern that prints a reverse holo pokeball pattern across the energy card for the first type (01-08) of SVE. The remaining two types (Twlight Masquerade (09-16) being one and BB/WF (17-24) being the second) only have one type of holo pattern I believe. This is only what I've noticed, but there may be more types that I do not know about. Wouldn't it be good to have this information somewhere we could all find it? Move proposal (remove "Energies")

This page ought to be moved to "SVE Basic Energy (TCG)" or "Scarlet & Violet Basic Energy cards (TCG)" or some variation thereof. "Energy" has always been used as both singular and plural in the context of the TCG; "Energies" has never been used in an official context. For the record I also think its better to eliminate the shorthand and we should be writing out "promotional cards" instead of "promos" but thats a different discussion to this one. 4iamking 03:05, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Before we get ahead of ourselves, the "category" of cards is promotional cards, the named sets are all Black Star Promos, as recently as the 2026 Pokémon TCG Tournament Season through Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames. This is already how we have all the pages grouped and named.

As for this page, the move is generally considered fine to do, we just need an open time to do it and handle any unforseen issues. Particularly sometime without the largest set ever (by 4 times) looming in the immediate future. ^Maverick_Nate 04:15, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
