Use of "Star"

If this article title uses "Star" in place of ☆, perhaps the card articles should as well - "Latios Star," for example? Cipher (Talk) 11:41, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Capitalization of ☆ in text

The lede for this article includes a citation noting that the is rendered in text as Star (archived here). However, a contemporaneous press release shows that these Pokémon referred to as "Pokémon 'star'" in quotes (Pokémon “star”), though the poll present on the page refers to "Pokémon star" with no quotes around star (Pokémon star). My inclination would be to use the contemporary reading, but I would like to know other user's thoughts on how to address inconsistencies such as these. --Apopheniac (talk) 03:20, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
