Redirect?

Could this perhaps redirect to Poison (type) with a hatnote at the top of that page linking to Poison (status condition)? I just think it might be better for the search to land on a page that people are more likely to be looking for, than to make everyone have to go through the disambig, and the type page seems more notable here. I believe I don't dislike disambiguation pages as much as other apparently do. In my opinion, if one topic isn't clearly the topic the vast majority would be looking for (think above 75%, just to put a number here), then I'd choose a disambiguation, personally. (Rationale is that readers would go "Woops, that's the wrong page.. oh wait there's a hatnote, well okay whatever", which I think is a worse user experience than "Oh right, there's several things named that.. okay I wanted this one".)

In this case, it's not as clear, so I would argue for keeping the disambiguation, personally. Nescientist (talk) 15:51, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
