The error.
Are we absolutely certain the Quick Ball was an error? Given Blake's previous use of Poké Ball variants and especially considering that he had Whitley use a Quick Ball for Shelmet at the same time he caught Karrablast, I'm actually inclined to wonder if they both used Quick Balls and the real error was the standard Poké Ball.
