- It's much more likely that its name comes from a combination of "needle" and "rhino", given that its Pokémon category is the Poison Pin Pokémon, with the association between needle and pin. Thespeon (talk) 01:32, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- Even if that was notable, this is a page about Nidorino's appearances on cards in the TCG. Pokémon name origins belong on the species article, which in this case is Nidorino (Pokémon). Storm Aurora (talk) 02:43, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
