Mistranslation?

I looked up the dictionary form for 埋めて (埋める) and while one meaning is "to bury", it may not be correct here (I don't know why you would be burying it) but according to JWPCE there are multiple definitions:

埋める 【うめる】 (v1) (1) to bury, (2) to fill up (e.g. audience fills a hall), to fill (a seat, a vacant position), (3) to plug gaps, to stop a gap, (4) to make amends, to cover up for something, (5) to put cold water in a bath, (P)

Maybe it means something such as "to complete" (in the context of filling up unvisited places on the map) in reference to completing the Sevii Islands map. --Chickasaurus (talk) 14:27, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
