Paternity leave is the one you're thinking about, that's when the reason can be anything. Maternity leave is specifically for pregnant women.--ForceFire 15:11, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

"Paternity leave" is when someone takes leave due to their spouse's pregnancy. "Parental leave" is the generic one which could be anything to do with a child. --SnorlaxMonster 15:50, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
