English name.

I'm sure he has an English name, which can be found in Closed Captioning. Can anyone find out what is it? --Maxim 16:39, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm pretty sure it's Keith.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 06:34, 22 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, I have also seen the name "Keith" somewhere, but I believe it could be just a guess based on his Japanese name. Someone must simply check this out. --Maxim 14:51, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I have also seen Keith as his English name. I believe it was in one of Tracey West's novelizations. Double-checking via closed captioning couldn't hurt, though. --PAK Man Talk 20:12, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Keith - A pretty solid proof! Admin approval needed.

The summary for EP49 from Pokito.de Website (Pokito is a block of RTL2, where Pokemon episodes are aired in Germany) mentions "Keith". I know that the source is not English-language, it's German. But German dubbers really DON'T change CoTD names (they would do that later, in Johto). And also, it is not the first source that lists "Keith" as his name (but the first official one). It can't be a coincidence. Keita's dub name IS Keith. There are too many indications of this for this not being true. I'm not moving page, as I want to see admin's approval. But I hope it'll be positive. --Maxim 13:20, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since this article is now tagged as having no official English name, I'd say the validity of the external sources mentioned above should either be reevaluated or we should remove the name "Keith" altogether (or at least move it to trivia), as it's not really a "translation"...
