Possible design origin?
Dark skin? Blue hair? Lives near the sea? Water/Ghost signature Pokémon? Methinks we're having here an opposite-personality ancestor of Marlon. - unsigned comment from Eworm (talk • contribs)
- That's a compelling theory, though personally I feel it falls just short of being a clear connection, unlike many of the other probable ancestors. Landfish7 15:45, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Also, for what it's worth, Marlon is not naturally dark-skinned. He is merely tanned, with his feet giving away his true lighter skin tone. There's no such indication that Iscan has a lighter skin tone. Landfish7 15:55, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Palina, Iscan's love interest, has a lighter skin tone and is a diver, though it kinda replaces the skin tone connection (aside from, y'know, them wanting the designs to be similar just for potentially different reasons) with a diving connection.
