The quick start red/green gift set also contains the 3 1997 illustration contest winners Poliwrath, Snorlax, and Mr. Mime. I am adding this in as it is fact. However what I do not know is if they are distinguishable from the illustrator counterparts. Rumor has it they are not. If anyone can confirm this having seen a difference please make the edit.
