Possible Giygas Reference?

I just saw this comment on a Youtube video's comment section:

[The things F-00 says such as "It hurts..." or the repetitive calling of your name might be a reference to Giygas from Earthbound from the Mother series, which some of the same people from Pokemon worked on as well.]
