Pokémon Type

- I assume it's because they have wings? There's no way anyone on this wiki could adequately answer this question as none of us were involved in the creation process of this Pokémon. --Pokemaster97 20:33, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
I already know it has wings. Pokémon can't fly without wings, just a theory. But I meant how come it's not part Flying-type?--JasonL (Talk) 22:01, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

Origin
Can we add that Dustox's wing circle patterns may be a reference to eyespots (something commonly seen on butterflies and moths)? Also, Actias artemis looks nothing like Dustox...just saying... Striker212 (talk) 02:35, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
