Comparison to horses

It seems that Dodrio are used a lot (even more than Ponyta and it's evolution) in place of horses in the anime. Is this notable? --Nathan2055^talk 00:44, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Game Locations

Shouldn't it be noted that you can get a Dodrio from an in-game trade in Blackthorn City like the Abra you get from Oreburgh City is listed on Abra's page?--William slattery (talk) 00:57, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

"Wingless"?

Does it make sense to describe Dodrio as wingless? It doesn't have visible wings, but neither does Doduo, and Doduo's Pokedex descriptions make it clear it does have small wings somewhere hidden under all that fluff. Its possible that Dodrio loses its wings on evolution, but the fact that it can learn Fly seems to contradict that. Might be worth mentioning at least? Jump Drive (talk) 12:28, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
