Talk:Cogita

What in the Old Verses would make Cogita 1000-2000 years old?

The Trivia section claims "If the writer [of the Old Verses] and Cogita are indeed the same person, that'd make her 1000 or 2000 years old."

Why? Old Verse 2 implies the writer is elderly, but I see nothing in the Old Verses that suggests their writer is old beyond an ordinary human lifespan. B097 (talk) 09:50, 27 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

I suspect it comes from this line from Old Verse 5: "So once again did our name live, though all our people gone." This suggests that the writer is one of the original Celestica people.
According to our Hisui page, the ancient Sinnoh people lived a millennium or two prior to the modern day. So, if the original Celestica people and the ancient Sinnoh people are the same group, it stands to reason that someone who was part of that group would be 1000-2000 years old. However, I don't know what the textual evidence is (if any) that supports either of these claims. Storm Aurora (talk) 15:36, 27 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
