Bug bite's effect on status-healing berries

What happens if a player uses Bug Bite on a target that has a status-curing berry, such as Rawst or Lum? Zedadex 09:27, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Nothing special...the Berry is eaten and if the user has a status condition, it is cured by the correct Berry.--電禅Den Zen 10:03, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Leppa?

Does anyone know how the move is chosen when Bug Bite eats a Leppa berry? The only time I had it happen, it restored Bug Bite itself, which certainly wasn't the lowest remaining PP, but may or may not have been lowest percent of maximum. --Aescula (talk) 22:22, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

so I went to the battle subway

and my Stoutland got hit by Bug Bite more than once through the first 5 cars, but the chesto berry remained until a Deino on the 6th car used Incinerate. This is the Multi Battle train in White 2. Pikachu210 (talk) 00:04, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
