Wait, why are we using the translated title for this as the title of the article? Pokemon Special's English name, Pokemon Adventures, isn't used as the title for that article. I think that either all manga articles should go by their English name or Japanese names, to give things a feeling of consistancy.--RexRacer -talk 20:58, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Special's just called Special as a leftover from when we went by "most common name for it". And now, it's just... Special. Everyone knows it as Special. No one calls it Adventures. But likewise, how many fans call anything with "Satoshi" on it "Satoshi" and not "Ash"? TTEchidna 23:49, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Abbreviation

Why all the redlinks use abbreviation SP for the Ash and Pikachu chapters? Because the Japanese title is "Satoshi and Pikachu"? Not a very good reason. I think we should change it to AP if there's no problem with that. --Maxim 13:07, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

It was decided that several manga series would have 'Japanese' epicodes. Hense SP instead of AP... --Coolピカチュウ! 23:14, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Basically, we decided that epicodes are the one thing on Bulbapedia we want to keep Japanese, because they're sorta like production codes... That's why we haven't moved PS001 to PA001, or PPP01 to MPJ01. --electAbuzzzz 00:20, 24 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm assuming this article is called "Ash and Pikachu" and not "Ash & Pikachu" because of technical limitations that once existed but don't anymore. So shouldn't this article now be located at "Ash & Pikachu"? レシイラムtalk 07:00, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
