I created this page mainly because it was a Pokémon Ash used. If this page isn't notable, then neither is this. Missingno. Master 20:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sigh.. but the Instuctor is almost a COtD. Ash isn't that. Tina δ 20:37, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, then would it be better if put under Ash's Weezing? If it's notable enough to be put in Ash's page, it's notable enough for its own page (until today, the Ultimate Test Pokémon were the only Pokémon Ash used that didn't have their own pages). Missingno. Master 20:41, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
And you know what? There should also be James's Pikachu, James' Ivysaur, and James's Charizard. I mean, if James's Hoppip, Jessie's Charizard, Jessie's Magikarp, Jessie's Shellder, James's Aggron, Ash's Seaking, and Paul's Azumarill can be articles, then why not them? Missingno. Jeez... okay... fine... though another reason why I put the delete sign on it is because it was rather poorly made. Tina δ 20:49, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, it was, wasn't it? Well, if I can find some screenshots of the episode, and the entrance exam instructor's japanese name, I think I can fix 'em. Missingno. Master 20:52, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

"If we have X, why not Y" is becoming a less and less appropriate argument on Bulbapedia recently. This kind of stuff is on the borderline so each article must be taken on its own merits. Paul's Azumarill, for example, I think was already agreed to not be worth keeping. --FabuVinny T-C-S 21:00, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
There's a fine line between Seaking and this Weezing/Arbok/Meowth trio. Ash actually caught Seaking, even if he had to let it go as per contest rules. This Weezing, on the other hand, was chosen as a rental for the exam along with the Arbok and Meowth. They technically never belonged to Ash in the first place, and Ash knew he'd have to return them. --Shiningpikablu252 22:49, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I agree there. There's no reason to have an article on a Pokémon Ash rented. TTEchidnaGSDS! 22:52, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I want to know why we can't have the details about the Pokémon on their owner's page. Anything about the rental Pokémon could easily be placed in their section on the Instructor's page. --FabuVinny T-C-S 16:29, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
