No legal Deoxys knows Aeroblast. Firstly, The 10th anniversary Deoxys distributed in Japan last year did not have any special moves. Likewise, Space Center Deoxys (distributed in 2006) and Dutch/DOEL Deoxys (distributed in 2005) reportedly had no special moves, either.

All other Deoxys originate from Birth Island (FireRed and LeafGreen's, if to be exact). In particular, there was only one event in the UK distributing Deoxys, and it simply could not accommodate special moves due to triggering the Birth Island event.

I believe that the source of this erroneous information is this YouTube video. The player's Deoxys (shown in 2:06-2:11) is clearly hacked (it is stated as much in the additional information section, albeit in regard to being Shiny), which can be derived from the fact that its OT is that of the player's, yet it still has a special move. This person may not have created the rumor, but they fueled it by boasting the accomplishments of hacking on the Internet. --Unown Lord 07:51, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Why is Aeroblast described as 'slightly inaccurate'? Ettina 4:10 PM, Nov 14 2008

Because it has 95% accuracy--RexRacer -talk 22:11, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Hyper Beam?

Wasn't there a certain degree of debate going on about whether the move Lugia used in The Power of One was hyper beam? I think it's Aeroblast, but I don't think it was ever confirmed. --GEN1KING 03:12, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Aeroblast in XD

I believe there needs to be a link to the shadow counterpart called Shadow Blast. Since a screenshot has shown the move Aeroblast in Coloseum, shouln't there be a screenshot included in the other generations showing the move in XD too? --Mwthorn (talk) 14:54, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

I don't believe we list Shadow Moves under move variations or the respective templates, thought I don't really see why. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 15:03, 4/24/2014 (UTC)
I think it make sense to consider Shadow moves for move variations. --SnorlaxMonster 15:22, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
