I'm curious; is there any difference between this move and {{m|Protect}}? They seem to both have the exact same effect, only Protect has double the PP. :If your Pokémon has both moves, you can alternate between Protect and Detect, essentially giving you 15 turns of invincibility (and that's before taking PP-raising items into account).
