| A commercial for the game shows {{p|Pikachu}} and some others standing near a hole. However, the others accidentally push Pikachu into the hole, and a {{p|Mew}} appears. Pikachu falls to the ground beneath the hole, and begins running with a {{p|Ponyta}}, jumping on a ski lift, running through a chilly town, performing with a {{p|Mr. Mime}}, talking to a {{p|Croagunk}} and {{p|Shaymin}}, dancing with a {{p|Venusaur}} and {{p|Buneary}}, and racing against others. The commercial then shifts to an {{p|Empoleon}} surfing and a {{p|Pelipper}} flying. Pikachu then reappears on a {{p|Lapras}} and with a {{p|Drifblim}} flying off into the horizon to finish off the commercial. Another commercial with different scenes was also aired in the United States.
