If I understand [https://veekun.com/dex/abilities/technician veekun] correctly, they say Helping Hand's power boost applies before Technician is checked (as does {{m|Defense Curl}}'s boost for {{m|Rollout}}/{{m|Ice Ball}}). {{de|Techniker|The German PokéWiki}} agrees, and explicitly say that this was different prior to Generation V; veekun seems to say the same. Based on [http://www.smogon.com/bw/articles/bw_complete_damage_formula this Smogon guide], however, I believe in Generation V, Helping Hand's boost is in fact not considered for Technician (but Defense Curl is). Per {{u|SadisticMystic}} (or, so I presume) in [https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/33018/can-you-stack-helping-hand here], in ''some'' Generations (which sounds like probably GenVII or VIII), tests show that Helping Hand stacks. However, according to [http://www.smogon.com/bw/articles/bw_complete_damage_formula this smogon guide], I believe it's unlikely to also be the case in Generation V or their Triple Battles (though I haven't tested).
