Sandaconda uses it inflated sand pouch to protect its head from harm. The pouch can store up to 2220 pounds of sand for a time. The pouch is very elastic and thick to the point a {{p|Durant}}'s pincers cannot harm it. Sandaconda can unleashing the sand stored within the pouch with tremendous force through the noise. By mixing the sand with pieces of gravel, it becomes very dangerous to the point simply being in contact of mixture will cause lacerations.
