:The Trapinch line are all based on Antlions, but I can definitely see the resemblance to mayflies. <sup><span style="color:#C00;">★</span></sup><span style="color:#C00;">Jo the Marten</span><sup><span style="color:#C00;">★</span></sup> <span style="color:#C00;">ಠ_ಠ</span><span style="color:#90C870;">♥</span> 18:59, 16 November 2012 (UTC) | :The Trapinch line are all based on Antlions, but I can definitely see the resemblance to mayflies. <sup><span style="color:#C00;">★</span></sup><span style="color:#C00;">Jo the Marten</span><sup><span style="color:#C00;">★</span></sup> <span style="color:#C00;">ಠ_ಠ</span><span style="color:#90C870;">♥</span> 18:59, 16 November 2012 (UTC) | ||
::Yes that's true. But this stage doesn't resemble an adult antlion very much either. I think its resemblance to a mayfly should be mentioned in the article. :::I recently found out that the Japanese word for antlion translates "thin-winged mayfly," and I believe Vibrava's design takes that literally. Since it's the mid-stage, I'm guessing that it may have been based on a mayfly dun (whereas Flygon would be the mature adult, albeit based different species).
