 ::As for being worried about breaking something and somehow not being ablel to revert it, if you're using preview, then you should be noticing when something is broken and ''not'' saving that, so that shouldn't really be a worry. This is exactly what previewing is for.

+:::Out of curiosity does doing multiple minor edits have the potential of damaging the server or anything in some way?
+:::Also I know this is not a good excuse but the reasoning behind these edits are that I'm not too used to the coding of these articles so many times I save the way I do in a combination of the fear of accidentally messing something up large as well as being a bit overwhelmed by the large wall of text. Also, I sometimes tend to remember other miscellaneous facts so I tend to come back to the page after the page is editted and saved.
