::I'm sorry for the confusion, but I was simply stating that Chesnaught was based loosely on the Tarasque. It isn't mentioned anywhere on its page but to me Chesnaught strongly resembles the Tarasque from French legend. The Tarasque was a mammal-like dragon with the face of a lion, the limbs of a bear, a thick tail and most telling of all a heavy spike-covered shell on its back. Given the strong resemblance and how Kalos is based on France I think it is worth mentioning in the Origin section of this Pokemon. | |||
